PRIMARY VS SECONDARY BUYERS:

A “Primary” Buyer is defined as one who has an immediate need for a product or service and who buys on the spot – at the time of need without shopping or researching or comparing.

The “Glove Box kit” is an excellent way to get in front of an accident victim at their time of need because usually the first thing the whiplash victim does is reach into their glove box for their insurance card and vehicle registration. There they are very likely to see the Glove Box Kit which is a very useful tool at the time of the accident. Not only does the card provide useful data for the accident victim to record at the time of the accident and on the accident scene, but it also notifies them, of the difference in providers which could cost them up to 80% of their claim valuation. Method of distribution: Insert into your Sunday Newspaper
The Tabloid is an excellent Public Relations tool to educate and inform patients about their accident rights. This should be sent to the entire population in- your DMA – or 100,000 lives. Contact the sales rep of your local Sunday newspaper and ask them for a price quote to print and deliver 100,000 tabloids. This will be printed on the same stock your newspaper uses. Prices vary depending on the cost of paper at any given time as paper is a commodity; however this is the most affordable print piece available. Costs average between 2.7 and 4.2 cents per piece, so ten thousand can cost between $270 - $420 dollars. This is an incredible value for an 8 page full color piece. It costs the same as a one-sided flyer because it is printed on cheaper newspaper stock. It is printed on the same size paper, usually 17.5 X 22 and folded twice. It will contain full color.
The key is to first obtain a price quote for one hundred (100,000) thousand pieces to be printed and inserted and delivered. Then, and only after you receive a price quote (which can be haggled) – then ask the newspaper rep to set it up so they store the full run in house and deliver at a rate of ten thousand a week over a ten week period. They will know how to distribute it so as not to repeat any zip codes.
Within a ten week (or 3 month) period, you will have distributed to your full 100K DMA.

Flyers are one of the most recognizable print marketing or advertising mediums – used in political campaigns as well as promotional gimmicks.
